The First Annual Sustainability Symposium will take place March 25, 2015 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Notre Dame Conference Center. This mini conference sponsored by Office Depot and presented by the Office of Sustainability will focus on Purchasing for Positive Impact.

Participants will walk away with an understanding of the importance of thinking sustainably when purchasing in a work environment. Speakers will provide context on why and how this behavior should be embraced – in the areas of Sustainable office purchasing, lab purchasing, and MRO(maintenance, repair and operations). Additionally students, faculty and staff will better understand how these purchasing attitudes can aid in fulfillment of the University of Notre Dame’s sustainability goals.
