In keeping with updates from the federal government, Procurement Services is raising the thresholds required for competitive bids. 

Effective July 1, 2018, purchases:

• Under $10,000 require one quote.
• Between $10,000 and $150,000, require three written quotes.
• Over $150,000, require a Procurement-led bidding process.

To document these conditions, we have updated and renamed the Supplier Selection Form to the Supplier Justification Form, and it will reside on the buyND homepage as a button labeled Supplier Justification >$10.000.

This upgraded form will allow you to create a requisition while documenting your selection process and will be the required method for submitting non-catalog requisitions over $10,000. Non-catalog requisitions over $10,000 that are not created using this form will be rejected.
