Vaibhav Agarwal
Director of Procurement Systems
Vaibhav joined Procurement Services as an MBA intern
in October 2001. After completing his Bachelor's
degree in Finance from Indiana Institute of Technology,
Vaibhav began his professional career as an Analyst
for Verizon
Data
Services (client
of
HAS, Inc.) and worked in application support and
project implementation teams. He extended his IT
experience by joining Waterfield Mortgage Company
as an Application Developer. At Procurement Services,
Vaibhav is responsible for buyND e-procurement
and e-Sourcing initiatives and its related
activities including reporting, supplier enablement
and web development.
In addition, he also manages the training and communication initiatives for the department. He graduated from the MBA program at Notre Dame in
May 2002.

Daniel Brewer
Procurement Specialist (Technology)
Dan joined Procurement Services in January of 2002
after spending four years as Manager of the OIT Computer Store. He began his computer industry career in 1985
at Zenith Electronics Corporation and has worked as
a branch manager for many regional and international
companies that have provided computing solutions for
corporate, educational, and government markets. Dan
has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration
from Indiana University, and is currently
pursuing a Masters Degree in Global Supply Chain Management. Dan is responsible
for procurement of technology products, vendor contracting
and relations, coordinating specifications with OIT
and technical staffs in departments, and business processes
regarding IT Procurement. He has received the designation of Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) from the Institute for Supply Management. |

Kara Finch
Procurement Specialist
Kara joined the Procurement Services team in November of 2007 as a Procurement Specialist for Science and Engineering. She came to the University of Notre Dame from the City of Elkhart where she worked as the city’s Purchasing Manager, dealing in a variety of commodities. Kara received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Purdue University. She later received a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan and is a licensed attorney in Indiana. |

Nancy
Fulcher
Manager of Strategic Sourcing
Nancy Fulcher joined Procurement Services in August
of 1990. She was hired to help the department with
the backlog of paperwork. Then, as a Procurement
Specialist she held responsibility for numerous commodities.
This led to her on-going role as subject matter expert
in the buyND, buyND Sourcing Manager
and Renovare projects. Currently, as the Manager of Strategic Sourcing, she manages the Sourcing Team and has responsibility for procurement transactions, sourcing strategy, commodity and supplier management, and cost management initiatives within Procurement Services.
Nancy holds an MBA from Bethel College and a BA from
the University of San Francisco. She has received the designation of Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) from the Institute for Supply Management. |

Rob Kelly
Director, Procurement Services
Rob joined the Procurement Services team in July of 2006 as the Business Manager. In July of 2007, Rob officially took responsibility as the Director of Procurement Services. He came to Notre Dame from Honeywell International, working for the Consumer Products Group division in a variety of Operations, Supply Chain and Planning roles. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration. Rob is a Certified Lean Expert and maintains a Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) designation through APICS, The Association for Operations Management. He has also received the designation of Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) from the Institute for Supply Management. |

Diane Kennedy
Procurement Systems Specialist
Diane joined Procurement Services in January 2008. In her role as a Procurement Systems Specialist, she is responsible for providing day-to-day operational support to the buyND e-Procurement and e-Sourcing systems. Along with other system responsibilities such as data analysis, system testing and troubleshooting, she also plays an important role in the training and communications for the department. Diane been with the University since 2000, first as an Instructor for the Computer Education Program (CEP), and then in January, 2001 she joined the University Libraries as a Technical Support Analyst/Consultant. |

Lori
K. Kish
Contract Administrator
Lori has worked in Procurement Services since
1990. Prior to joining Notre Dame, she lived in
South Carolina for 3 years before returning to
South Bend to be closer to her family. |

Eileen
A. Miller
Buying Assistant
Eileen has served the University in various capacities.
She began her secretarial career as a Receptionist
for the Financial Aid Department from 1987 to 1992.
In 1992, she transferred to Procurement Services
as a Receptionist. In 1999 she was promoted to
a Senior Staff Assistant. Currently as a Buying
Assistant, Eileen concentrates on placing scientific
orders for the University. |

Tom
A. Rogers
Procurement Specialist
Tom is a graduate of Manchester College with a
degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation,
he entered the field of purchasing at a manufacturing
facility in Nappanee, IN as first a buyer and then,
ultimately, as Purchasing Director. In 1981 Tom
joined the Procurement Services Dept. at Notre
Dame in a buyer's capacity. His responsibilities
included a variety of commodity areas with heavy
emphasis on furniture procurement for new construction
and major renovations. In 1989 Tom achieved the
C.P.M. (Certified Purchasing Manager) designation
from the Institute for Supply Management, and in 2000 received the Lifetime certification
based on years of service in the purchasing field
and professional development. Tom has held
the positions of Buyer, Senior Buyer, and
Assistant Director while at Notre Dame. His responsibilities
are changing with an increasing emphasis on contract
development/management and vendor relations. |

Ann
Simpson
Manager of Contracts
Ann joined the Procurement Services team in May
of 2004. After receiving her Bachelor of Business
Administration from Saint Mary’s College, Ann
began her career working as a Marketing Coordinator
for a third party administrator in South Bend. In
her role as Contract Administrator, Ann is responsible
for tracking the current contracts as well as overseeing
new contracts. |

Lucille
M. Spaulding
Buying Assistant
Luci joined the Procurement Services in March 2001.
Currently, she concentrates on placing orders for
various commodities such as facilities, maintenance,
and utilities. She also assists the other buyers.
Luci worked at the Notre Dame Catalog Center for
several years before joining the Procurement Services. |
