1. How do I
get a requisition form?
With the implementation of the Renovare
program, as of July 1, 2004, paper forms for requisitions
and
purchase
orders
are obsolete. The buyND
e-Procurement system is
used to issue requisitions and purchase orders. |
2. Can
you tell me the originator for a particular requisition
or purchase order?
Yes. With either number, we can go into our purchasing
database and lookup the originator of the order.
|
3. What
is a Procard?
A Purchasing Card (Procard) is actually a MasterCard
that we use for high volume, low dollar purchases.
The Procard program was established to provide
a more efficient, cost-effective method of purchasing
and has reduced the time between identifying a
need and delivery of the products. Please read
the Procard policies
and procedures as maintained
by the Controller's
Group.
|
4. How
do I obtain a Procard?
Fill out the Procard
Application form and return it to Procard Administrator, 804
Grace Hall.
|
5. Should
I be paying sales taxes for my purchases?
Notre Dame is a nonprofit educational institution
organized under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue
Code. Therefore, we qualify for a sales tax exemption
in many states. The Sales Tax Exemption Schedule identifies
the states that the University is currently exempt
from sales taxes. Please contact the Procurement Services Help Desk at 631-4289 (or email buy@nd.edu),
to obtain the appropriate tax-exempt forms.
|
6. Who
can I call if I need help with Procard?
Please
contact the Procard Administrator at 631-4645.
